Samuel Alexander is the founder and president of Alexander Appellate Law P.A., a statewide Florida appellate law firm dedicated to appellate practice and litigation support, including legal research and writing services.
After obtaining his law degree with honors from the University of Florida, Mr. Alexander clerked under the Honorable Thomas D. Sawaya at Florida’s Fifth District Court of Appeal. Upon Judge Sawaya’s retirement, he continued clerking for the Fifth District under the Honorable James A. Edwards, rising to the level of Senior Law Clerk. At the Fifth District Court of Appeal, Mr. Alexander was involved in the decision-making process for almost a hundred appellate cases, including many high-stakes civil and criminal suits. His analysis was often incorporated into opinions that created new legal precedent throughout the State of Florida.
As a Florida appellate attorney — dedicated almost exclusively to appeals — Mr. Alexander has the skills and experience necessary to maximize your chances of success on appeal. Whether you intend to pursue an appeal or defend against one, Mr. Alexander will bring his experience to bear on the trial-level record in search of reversible errors. He will work with you determine the possible grounds for reversal and the defenses against them.
