Samuel Alexander Elected to Executive Council of Florida's Appellate Practice Section
Alexander Appellate Law P.A. shareholder Sam Alexander has been elected to the Executive Council of the Appellate Practice Section of the Florida Bar. The Appellate Practice Section is a 1500-member attorney organization “dedicated to promoting excellence in Florida’s state and federal appellate courts.” As a member of the Executive Council, Sam has been chosen by his appellate peers to supervise and control the affairs of the organization.
Sam first became involved in the Appellate Practice Section while working as an appellate law clerk at Florida’s Fifth District Court of Appeal. After serving on the Pro Bono Committee for two years, he was elected Vice Chair of that committee, after which he was elected Co-Chair of the Pro Bono Committee. Sam has now been elected to join the Executive Council of the Appellate Practice Section.
Sam is honored to have been chosen by his fellow appellate practitioners to help lead the the 1500-member organization, because he finds its stated cause worthwhile: “to enhance the role and skills of Florida Bar members who are engaged in appellate practice.”
